I'm Kagan Taylor, a sonic storyteller + visual thinker based in New Orleans, LA. With a decade of digital design, creative direction, plus print + garment production experience, I gave birth to my brainchild, Virtual Swirl, in  early 2022. It was crafted to be a creative space celebrating the intersection of sound, design, art + pop culture — part evolved blog, part sustainability check-in, part invitation for creative overflow.

By day, I work within the hospitality industry, telling stories through content and imagery. Music has always run alongside the visual work — I'm 1/2 of the production duo Khromethesia, and I've been DJing since 2017 under kuti.

For years, I didn't know how to balance being a multi-dimensional creative, but I've found the beauty in the limitless nature of it all. Virtual Swirl is about embracing your curiosity, self-expression, and constant exploration. Every element is a star. ︎
